As you know, Haiti has been devastated by a massive earthquake.  If you stop to think about it as you watch the news the situation seems so overwhelming that it is difficult to know how or where to help.  At CBC we have connections with Haitian pastors in Haiti that will be able to distribute funds to help the people in the aftermath of this tragedy.  If you would like to help financially you can give by clicking on the Paypal button to the left. We are setting up right now for Fall Festival :) Pray that the rain subsides so far it has settled down to a drizzle now and then. Come on out or we will have WAAAAAy too much food left around :) Have a great weekend!!!

We had a great day today with our booth at the Clover Fall Festival/Auto Show/Street Dance.  We handed out somewhere in excess of 1500 free snow cones and over 1000 flyers for the Church’s Fall Festival which will be on October 24 at the Church. Pray that God will lead some of these contacts to visit as well as to come out to the Church Fall Festival. 

From my understanding we did get final inspector approval for the new building and we will be having Sunday School this Sunday at 10am for both Adults as well as Teens in the building.

I don’t have any pictures to post however we are almost done on the new building.  The Air Conditioning is Finally working as of last night !!! :)  The very brilliant colored foam flooring is down completely.  We have lots of beanbags and foam couches, but we still need more beanbags or something we could have used about 4 more seats last night (Thank God for all the teens we have showing up at youth group).  We should hopefully have our final inspection this week and our CO to move in completely.  Current plans are to use the back room for the teens and the front room on Sunday mornings for adult Sunday School class.

We had a great day out at the park on Labor Day.  I didn’t have a camera but someone else sent me some which I have posted here to take a look at.

We are going to Ebenezer park on Lake Wylie for the day!!  Festivities will include renting a pontoon boat as well as a waverunner and will be taking turns heading out on that throughout the day as well as plenty of food games etc at the park itself.  Please contact the church contact number if you are interested in helping out with any food etc or need any more information.  All are invited hope to see you there.
